During the traditional introductory days in the first week, trainees became acquainted with their future employers, colleagues and fellow trainees.

At a presentation and on an extensive tour of the factory site, the newcomers learned all about the different work areas at the Mainz manufacturer of sustainable detergents, cleaning and care products. They also received lots of information about the expectations, rights and obligations in the training program and some tips on trainee etiquette. There was still plenty of time for fun, motivation and team spirit. A sports festival capped off the action-packed introductory days.

The next important event for vocational training is the job fair (BIM Rheinhessen) on 25 and 26 August in the Mainz Rheingoldhalle, where the focus will be on next year’s incoming class of trainees.
Werner & Mertz is currently providing vocational training for 35 young people.
