Ralph Wenner, commercial managing director at Werner & Mertz, gave the new colleagues a warm welcome. Then the trainees and their future trainers introduced themselves in a group session. Trainees' ID cards and binders with important information about the company and their training programs were handed out.

Time to become acquainted

On the first few days the new trainees at Werner & Mertz were given time to get to know each other. Among other things, they spoke about their expectations of training at Werner & Mertz. They also learned important facts about their employer and their jobs and completed their first joint tasks.
The young people got a close look at the entire factory during a tour of the plant and warehouse and received information about the company's digital platforms from the source at an IT session. The introductory days were rounded off with a sports event at which the trainees took up the athletic challenges with team spirit and lots of fun.

As of 6 August the 13 trainees will begin in their assigned departments.
