Frosch is Brand of the Year 2024 in detergents and cleaning products!
Trusted brand of eco pioneer Werner & Mertz impresses consumers with criteria such as quality and price/performance ratio
Consumers have spoken. In an extensive survey, the Frosch brand from the medium-sized Mainz manufacturer prevailed over big brands like Persil and Ariel to become Brand of the Year 2024 in the Detergents and Cleaning Products category.
The results are based on a representative ranking by YouGov and the Handelsblatt. In online interviews, consumers evaluated more than 1000 brands in the six different dimensions of General Impression, Quality, Price/Performance Ratio, Customer Satisfaction, Willingness to Recommend and Employer Image. The companies with the highest rating in their categories are named “Brands of the Year”.
Frosch proves that quality and ecology go together!
The ranking is more proof that the manufacturer Werner & Mertz strikes a nerve with its philosophy of making a sustainable lifestyle attainable for the majority.
The Frosch brand products scored points in quality and performance in comparison with conventional products and came out ahead of big players, as they did recently in Stiftung Warentest in the dishwashing tablets category.
“Consumers want high quality they can touch and see. Our USP is sustainable products that do not require consumers to make any compromises at all in quality or performance. The ranking shows that consumers believe our promise and put their trust in us,” says Werner & Mertz owner Reinhard Schneider.
About the survey:
In cooperation with the Handelsblatt, YouGov conducted online interviews with consumers aged 18 and older who were asked to evaluate companies in 33 categories in the period between 1 September 2023 to 31 August 2024. Each of the 1072 brands could achieve a score between minus 100 to plus 100 points. The index score is a brand’s average performance in six different evaluation dimensions.
