Biodiversity in Good Company
Without biological diversity, no economic diversity.
The initiative Biodiversity in Good Company offers companies a platform where they can regularly exchange information with other companies and biodiversity experts and work together on the preservation of biological diversity at political, economic and social levels.
As a member of the cross-sector initiative, Werner & Mertz wants to emphasize the importance of biological diversity. We have been actively involved since the founding in 2008. The goal—in the interests of the economy and society—is to stop the dramatic loss of eco systems, species and genetic diversity.
Leading by good example
By joining the cross-sector initiative and signing the Leadership Commitment, small, medium and large enterprises agree to carry out in their companies measures aimed at protecting biodiversity. The more than 40 members of the initiative lead by good example and help to mobilize the innovative strength of the economy through their joint public relations work.
